Hike the Trout Adventure Trail

Trout UnlimitedBRMTU is the official local chapter in Blue Ridge, Georgia, of
Trout Unlimited, the acclaimed national organization dedicated to cold-water fisheries.

OUR MISSION
BRMTU is dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring the cold-water fisheries and watersheds of North Georgia, and to improving our community by empowering people of all abilities, including youth and veterans. We will achieve our mission through service and education, and through coalitions with like-minded organizations in the public, non-profit and commercial sectors.

Trout fishing on the upper Toccoa River, GeorgiaAll funds raised or donated to BRMTU are applied right here in the North Georgia mountains for cold-water conservation and stream restoration efforts, stream cleanups like Rivers Alive, and education and outreach. Sponsored education and outreach programs include Trout in the Classroom in local schools, the Trout Adventure Trail, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts conservation education, Project Healing Waters for wounded veterans, Casting for Recovery for breast cancer survivors, Georgia Trout Camp, and Mercier Orchard Family Fishing Days.

Fannin County -- the Trout Capital of GeorgiaBRMTU also supports Fannin County
as the official "Trout Capital of Georgia"
named in 2005 by resolution of the Georgia state legislature ...
